NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Donelson neighborhood offers plenty for residents, but for pet owners, access to veterinary care remains limited.
“There are really only three practices in the Donelson area,” said Eva McAllister, president of Nashville Cat Rescue. “We also want to give back to the community.”
Nashville Cat Rescue, a foster-based nonprofit that’s been operating in the Metro area for two decades, has rescued and rehomed more than 22,000 cats since its founding.
But despite its success, the organization has never had a physical base of operations. Now, leaders are hoping that’s about to change.
